Belleville Waterfront Festival Rocks

This years Waterfront Festival in Belleville featured a ton of music over three nights. Night one was the Indie Music Fest featuring local acts and headliner Treble Charger, who have recently reunited and started playing shows again. Seeing these guys play was a real treat indeed! Every year the Indie Fest has been getting bigger and drawing more fans, and this year was no exception.

After a night of loud rock, night two was geared toward a different audience and featured Shania Twain and Tim Mcgraw impersonators. They took turns playing sets and did a couple of duets as well.

Not to be outdone, the final night of music was capped off with a Michael Jackson impersonator. I have to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I saw this on the bill. At first I thought it would be just the impersonator doing his thing to backing tracks. But when I was hanging out backstage, I saw a whole band roll up. They didn’t play what I expected either, but they had the crowd on the dance floor!
